impudentsongbird: (he's been there)

Had he ever spoken to a Sensitive? Only every single year for the whole span of time since they had existed. Psychics were communicators. Communicators fell under Gabriel's patronage. "Yes," he said simply, "and some, the powerful some, can see quite a bit--the only question then is how much they choose to reveal. They must not like you much."

He tilted his head, smiling in an oddly friendly manner. "Of course, interpretation matters. It's often hard for the short-sighted to see much relevance to visions."

The fact that she was so obviously pleased that the Church of the Faceless was 'rattled' didn't really do much to endear her to Gabe. This was a woman so utterly self-centred that she couldn't even hold to faith. The only thing to say about her was that she wasn't damned, but Gabe was finding, suddenly, that it was possible for him to dislike someone who still might wind up in Heaven.

It was an odd thought, and he didn't like it overly much.

The Archangel frowned, only partly because of said thought and mostly because of Skul's words. "He's right. This could end badly, especially if they're being so ... obvious." It could mean Armageddon. It could be that the angels in this dimension were returning, and that they had left for good reason (the same way Castiel's family had). It could be that they were from Gabe's world. It was too hard to say. "But," he added, turning to Skul, "if the visions really are too vague to interpret much--and we ought to visit one or two of these Sensitives ourselves to tell, Skul--there's no point in dwelling on them. Relying too much on an unclear future is foolish."
