He leaned on the table, resting his chin on his hands as Finbar bustled around and chattered. The Archangel chuckled. "How do you know He wasn't here? He probably brought popcorn. My Lord is fond of popcorn and watching people build themselves up through hard work. He'd like you, Finbar."
Not in the sense of God loving everybody, because He did, but that didn't mean He enjoyed spending time with everyone. He still loved Lucifer, given that He was still offering Lucifer a way back to Heaven. That didn't mean He wanted to be around Lucifer all the time.
