If that was all Skul wanted to know, all he had to do was ask. As it was, as far as Gabriel was concerned the answer was fairly obvious, and it didn't occur to him that Skul might still be wondering.
At that, Gabriel grimaced ruefully. "Unfortunately, no. Not unless it was holy, perhaps." Then he blinked and glanced back toward Skul--or more specifically, Skul's rosary. "... Which may be an option, come to think of it, if I can pull together some water. The crossing strained my voice, is all. I've never--it's never happened before, to be honest, so I'm really just guessing."
But if there was anything that would help at all, holy water would be it. Technically speaking, he wouldn't even need the rosary; but it would certainly make things easier, and he would take all the ease he could right now.
