"Next time we'll pick a game we can double-team him at," Gabriel promised with a conspiratorial gleam in his eyes. The game might have been 'pranking', but it was still a game, and by his Master, they were going to win it.

The Archangel laughed, turning back to Skul and Barney. "I take it back," he said. "You ain't bad after all. But since we can't have a draw, I say Fletch gets to have the tie-breaker."

Gabe wouldn't, of course, be jealous. Actually, that was somewhat inaccurate. Gabe would be a little jealous, surprised by the feeling, and then chastise himself for it beyond what was necessary; but, ultimately, he'd be pleased and glad for Ghastly far more than he'd be jealous.

God looked thoughtfully at Ghastly's ball and then turned to him. "I take it back," He said. "This is too simple for men like us." He grinned broadly. "Let's go with time-limits. As many bowls as balls, twenty seconds to land all of 'em but good in bowls with fish. You up for it, Bespoke?"

There was an unmistakeable, if oddly unsevere, challenge in the words.
