Marr fought back. And she had a gun to help her do it. The girls at the shelter weren't exactly searched before they were taken in, but Janet should still have noticed a gun, and that was the only thought crossing her mind when she walked out of her office with a stack of paperwork and froze.

Damage control. The moment Angela was handcuffed on the floor, Janet left the stack of paperwork on the reception desk and herded all the girls who weren't Kelly, Gabby, or Angela out of the lobby. That part wasn't hard, since most of them were running out anyway; the hard part was explaining what happened to the few who tried to linger and help in any way they could. Gloria, in particular, practically had to be shoved over the threshold.

"Was that a gun?" she asked while Janet herded her back. "Is Mary hurt? What's going on?"

"No one's hurt," Janet assured her. "We have this under control. Could you calm everyone down, please? Keep everyone inside and in one room for the next ten minutes or so."

"Where did Angela get a - "

Janet took that as a yes and practically shoved Gloria over the threshold with a quickly muttered apology. She was working hard to keep her own nerves in check - the shelter may not have been in an upscale part of Dublin, but Janet hadn't seen anyone point a gun at someone before.

Then again, she hadn't seen anyone disarm someone so quickly before.

"We don't appreciate guns here," Janet managed to toss over her shoulder as she shut the door, and then turned around. "Thank you, Mary. Angela, this goes without saying, but you are not welcome back here, and I will do everything in my power to make sure you stay behind bars. I'll be sending you the bill for the window, as well. Kelly, remind me about that, please."
